Service Overview

Retenga is a digital loyalty platform connecting you with participating businesses. By creating an account, you can collect points, earn stamps, and redeem rewards at businesses that use our service.

Eligibility

You must be 13 years or older to use Retenga. By registering, you confirm you meet this age requirement. We may verify your age and will close accounts of users under 13.

Your Account

You’re responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date. Don’t share your account with others. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

How Points & Rewards Work

  • Points and stamps are earned based on purchases at participating businesses
  • Each business sets its own earning rates and redemption rules
  • Points may expire according to the business’s policy
  • Businesses can modify their rewards programs at any time
  • Points and rewards have no cash value and cannot be transferred except where permitted
  • We reserve the right to adjust point balances if we detect fraud or errors

Your Responsibilities

You agree to use the service only for lawful purposes, not manipulate points balances, not create multiple accounts to abuse promotions, comply with each business’s terms, and not interfere with the service.

Transactions & Payments

All purchases are between you and the participating business. Retenga does not process payments or handle refunds. Contact the business directly for transaction issues. Payment processing is handled by third-party services (Square, Shopify, Stripe, Clover, Moneris).

Service Availability

We strive to keep Retenga available 24/7, but we don’t guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend service for maintenance, updates, or technical issues. We’re not liable for any loss resulting from service interruptions.

Termination

You can close your account anytime through the app or by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or remain inactive. Upon termination, you forfeit unused points and rewards.

Limitation of Liability

Retenga is provided “as is.” We’re not liable for lost points, disputes with businesses, technical issues, or unauthorized account access if you don’t protect your password.

Our total liability is limited to the greater of:

  • (a) The monetary value of unredeemed points in your account, or
  • (b) $50

whichever is less.

Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Alberta, Canada. For disputes under $5,000, you agree to attempt resolution through mediation before litigation. Any legal action must be brought in Calgary, Alberta.
